 HENLEY REGATTA.

Leander Club have offered RTYC members one table of 10 for the final day of the Henley Regatta on Sunday 3rd July: click HERE for details of cost and how the day will be arranged.  Any member interested in booking the whole or part of this table should contact Lucia, the Membership Assistant, on 020 7201 6263 or email membersadmin@royalthames.com before  noon on Friday 3rd June. 

CUMBERLAND REGATTA 17th-19th JUNE. 

The Club's annual signature event away from London is less than three weeks away and details and a booking form are HERE.  If you haven't booked in yet please do so with Jonathan, the Sailing Assistant, as soon as possible.

 

HMS CUMBERLAND DECOMMISSIONING CEREMONY - THU 23 JUN.  

Following on from the ship's reception for past ship's company and affiliated organisations on 25TH May, the ship's final event, the traditional Royal Navy Decommissioning Ceremony, will take place in Devonport on Thursday 23rd June.  Any member who would like to attend the occasion should contact the Secretary (020 7201 6261 or secretary@royalthames.com  no later than noon on Monday 6th June by which time nominations need to be submitted to the ship.

MEMBERS' ACCOUNTS/MONTHLY DIRECT DEBITS. 

To date the take-up of members' accounts supported by a monthly Direct Debit mandate has been encouraging.  In April over 70 members took advantage of the 10% discount on food and beverages purchased in the Clubhouse and charged to their account.  There has been some confusion over the requirement to set up a new Direct Debit mandate if a member already has one in place for subscription payments.  A new Direct Debit mandate is necessary for all members who wish to operate a monthly account in order to receive the discounts available.  The new mandate provides the option of paying monthly accounts by Direct Debit, as well as annual or quarterly subscriptions.  Members may of course opt to pay their monthly accounts by Direct Debit and their subscription by other means if they prefer.  If you wish to set up a monthly account and you have not submitted a new Direct Debit mandate please contact the finance team - 020 7201 6264 or by email (click HERE).     

ROYAL LONDON YC COWES WEEK PASSES.  

Members are reminded that they must apply for passes for their guests to enter the Royal London YC during Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week.   On production of their membership card, RTYC members will receive one free guest pass. Additional guest passes are charged at £5/day & £10/week.  Please advise Lucia, the Membership Assistant, of your requirements so that we can inform the Royal London YC of RTYC requirements for guest passes which are to be collected from the Royal London YC. Secretary's office and paid for at the same time.
