Calling All Racing Sailors

This is the annual dinner for all Members who race - not just for those who have raced in Club teams during 2010, but for all who race, in whatever, wherever. Who knows, you might pick up a good tactician, navigator - or owner.

If you have raced in a team - get on the blower to the other members and put a table together.

If you have raced offshore - get together as a crew and come along.

If you race a Dragon or Daring at Cowes - book a place.

If you are in a syndicate - book a table and spend part of the evening sorting the diary.

Traditionally this is an informal and light-hearted evening with more than a little jollity, back-slapping and general badinage. A number of prizes - all much too eclectic for the Prizewinners' Dinner - will be awarded to mark, commemorate and bury the achievements, near misses and downright errors of the past year.

This will be the first Racers' Dinner to be presided over by our brand-new, just out-of-the-box Captain of Racing Chris Griffiths, to whom we shall raise a glass in honour of his forthcoming nuptials.  Last chance to warn his fiance of the error of her intended ways.
