Burns Night

Members have thoroughly enjoyed Royal Thames' Burns night festivities in the past and  it was felt that it should once more reappear in our Social Calendar for 2011.

So with Bagpipes at the ready, let the evening commence! A Champagne reception followed by a  four course dinner  with wine; the haggis will be paraded and there will be the usual jaunty exchanges of traditional toasts all accompanied by Talisker whisky to soothe your throats. Finally head to the bar with your Talisker "Goodie Bag" and continue your celebrations. All for just £40!

Burn's night's dinner is just one week away on Tuesday 25th January with places still available. So could I give a gentle nudge to those of you haven't yet booked to do so and those who have to encourage other Members and friends to come to an evening of joviality and frolics amongst the most convivial of company,  Scottish or not!

Time: 7.15 pm for 7.45 pm

Dress: Black Tie or Traditional Dress
