RTYC TEAM COMPETES IN INAUGURAL LONDON CLUBS' GOLF CHALLENGE

The RTYC team, comprising Stephen Matthews and Ross Witherow playing as the first pair and Clive Chalk and the Secretary, Captain David Freeman, playing together, competed against seven other teams on a beautiful late summer's day on a course in superb condition considering the battering it had received from heavy rain during the week.

Playing a modified Stableford format, the RTYC team came a creditable 5th amassing a score of 67 points, the winning team, the Special Forces Club, having come in with 75 points.  All those attending had an excellent day of friendly golf with a competitive edge and agreed that this should become an annual event in the Association of London Club's calendar.

The Club would like to establish an up to date database of all members interested in playing golf, either socially or with a bit of a competitive edge.  All standards can be catered for so please let the Secretary or Clive Chalk know if you would like to be considered for future golfing events.
