Younger members dominate Match Racing Nationals

Royal Thames YC younger members dominated the recent RYA National Match Racing finals held in Weymouth, taking no fewer than the top five places.
Members win silver medal in ISAF World Championships

Racing on the final day was cut short midway through the quarter-final stage. With the series curtailed as a result of the weather, overall victory was decided by the positions in the last fully completed round.

On Monday 23rd July 2007 TeamOrigin, the group led by Club member Sir Keith Mills that is planning to win the America's Cup for Great Britain, formally announced its challenge under the burgee of the Royal Thames Yacht Club.

On the 21st February Valencia Superyacht Marina kindly hosted a cocktail party in the clubhouse. They gave a presentation on the America's Cup Superyacht Programme.
Royal Thames Team Racing Report

The team racing season began with a lot of expectation on the newly ordained Royal Thames team racing team having had a successful year including winning BUSA Championships and coming second on tie break at the National Championships sailing as Cambridge University.
Andy Cornah comes 11th in ISAF Grade 1 Match Racing in Marseille

The final was played in a first to two victories. Ian Williams won the first match easily. The second was much more difficult, with both crews pushed to the limits to be the first to cross the finish line.

Members performing in ISAF series, Miami

We currently have a number of members performing in the ISAF series in Miami. Christina Bassadone and Saskia Clark (Women's 470) and Lizzie Vickers (Laser Radial) have all slipped to 8th and 6th in Class but are nevertheless top Brits.
