Cruising Dinner — 20 November '12

Now that the season is over we will conclude the cruising year with a dinner for members and guests

This year's sailing started with a fabulous Spring Excuse and finished with a beautifully bright Autumn Excuse in Cowes and Yarmouth.  In between these two events conditions were very variable with a weather low point at the Beaulieu BBQ which was, by all accounts, a social triumph.  However, it is hard to forget the fun and sunshine of Greece, the excitement of some great Cumberland Regatta racing, the joining of disciplines in Yarmouth alongside club events such as Rod Heikell and Steve Powell's riveting talks.  As well as excellent company throughout.

Now that the season is over we will conclude the cruising year with a dinner for members and guests and I hope that you will be able to attend with your guests.  Last year we were over 100 in number and we look set for another enjoyable evening where a few acknowledgements will be made and the odd prize awarded.  The Cruising Committee look forward to welcoming you to celebrate 2012's sailing.

There will be drinks in the Cumberland Bar from 7.30pm onwards and dinner is great value with 3 courses for £27.50 excluding wine.
