RTYC Charitable Trust Lunch — 14 June '12

Thursday 14th June at 12.30pm

Sir Michael will need no introduction. He has kindly agreed to meet guests and to talk after lunch and may well touch on his fascinating career as journalist, soldier, writer, presenter and chat-show host without equal.

There will be no tiresome raffle, no boring auction nor other fund raising activity which means that a very significant percentage of the ticket price will go to the RTYC Charitable Trust. Accordingly we have set ticket price at a sporting 100 guineas. The objective of the trust is to make it possible for children and youths from underprivileged backgrounds to go to sea. This is sometimes a life changing experience but always broadens horizons for a section of the community who are largely starved of help.

Please do come to what will be an enjoyable and interesting occasion or alternatively please support us with a donation. The lunch will be preceded by a reception and the price of the ticket will include wines and coffee.
