Patriots' Cup — 02 October '10

The Patriots’ Cup takes place this year on 2 and 3 October in Dun Laoghaire in 1720s.  It will be two boat team racing and is for silver level sailors.  More specifically this means that we are looking for the best helms and tacticians we can muster, the helms possibly having 1720 experience, and keen trimmers.  

Each boat will be sailed with a crew of five so please come forward even if you have never sailed a 1720 before. There will be an opportunity to practise in the Solent, date to be arranged.

The event is great fun with exciting sailing in Dublin Bay and warm, Irish hospitality and real Guinness ashore. We will need to arrive in Dublin on the evening of Thursday 30 September for a practise day on Friday 1 October.
