The Southern Nichols is three boat team racing sailing in ‘Flying Scots’ with a crew of three. Since 2008 the event has become a masters event (helms 45+ and crew 40+).

 In March 2008 RTYC sent a team to compete in the Southern Nichols.  We said at the end of that event that we would return in  2010 to race once again and to see the new SYC clubhouse, the previous clubhouse having been lost in Hurricane Katrina.

RTYC enjoyed our visit to New Orleans in 2008 and SYC provided great sailing on the water and excellent hospitality off the water.  This is one of the events to be at in 2010.
