Accommodation

For those staying in London, the club offers first class accommodation, in its Knightsbridge premises.

Img_0593_small The Club offers 32 cabins for members' and reciprocal members' use, including single, double and twin cabins with full en-suite facilities, all of which have been reccently refurbished.  Several cabins  have splendid views of Hyde Park and others over the bustling  Knightsbridge.

Img_0943_small There are also popular single cabins with shared bathrooms, designed for short overnight stays, each with its own wash hand basin, while the bath, shower and toilet facilities are just steps away.  These cabins represent exteremely good value for money and are much appreciated by members.   A new addition to our accommodation, The Admiral Suite, can accommodate up to four persons comfortably.

Admiral_suite_small The Club offers both same day (50% surcharge) and next day laundry service to its residents(Monday to Friday only). Laundry received before 9.00am will be returned by around 6.00pm the same day.

The Club's main dining room is traditionally called the Coffee Room. The picture windows offer fine views of Hyde Park and the cuisine is excellent. Luncheon is served between 12:30 and 2:15 and the Coffee Room is open for dinner from 7:30pm to last orders at 9:00pm. Snack lunches are  available in the ground-floor Britannia lounge.

An important room in the Clubhouse is the Model Room which houses a unique collection of half models that demonstrate the development of yacht design for racing from the earliest days to modern times. Here also may be found nautical almanacs, yachting histories and magazines, Lloyds Register of Yachts and the newsletters and magazines of many of our reciprocal clubs and other maritime institutions.
